まだ、購入したばかりですので、最初のUnitから順番に、取り組んでいます。
このブログは、継続させる為のアウトプットの場と、させて頂いています。
私が購入した本は全文英語ですが、日本語で解説されている本もありました。

日本語で解説されているので、英語で読むと時間がかかるので、サクッと読みたい方に、お勧めです。
また、自分の場合は、意味を分かりやすくする為に、日本語でメモを貼ったりしているので、日本語版の方が安いし、良かったかもしれません。
今回は、Adjective（形容詞）＋to.. です。
AとBの文章を見比べる。
James doesn't speak clealry.
ジェームスは、ハッキリとは話さない。
A It is hard understand him.
彼を、理解するのは難しい。
B He is hard to understand.
彼は、理解しにくい。
AとBの文章は、同じ意味になります。
＜he＞が、主語がになる場合は、文の終わりに＜him＞は必要ありません。
以下の形容詞も、上2通りの言い方をする事が出来ます。
easy・nice・safe・cheap・exciting・difficult・good・dangerous・expensive・interesting
Do you think it is safe to drink this water？
この水を飲んでも、大丈夫だと思いますか？
Do you think it is water is safe to drink？
その水を飲んでも大丈夫だと思いますか？
The exam questions were very hard.
It was impossible to answer them.
試験の質問は、とても大変でした。答える事は不可能でした。

They were impossible to answer.
試験の質問は、とても大変でした。彼らは、答える事が出来ませんでした。

ニコールには、面白いアイデアが沢山あります。
彼女と話す事は面白い。
Nicole is interesting to talk to.
ニコールと、話す事は面白い。
nice of （you）to... ご親切に...
It was nice of you to take me to the airport.Thank you very much.
ご親切に、空港まで送ってくれて、ありがとうございます。
sorry to.. 残念に思う、/surprised to..驚いた。
I'm sorry to hear that your father isn't well.
あなたの、お父さんの具合が悪いと聞いて残念に思う。
Ken was surprised to see you？
ケンは、あなたに会えて驚きましたか？
＜to＞が、後に来る表現
the next・the last・the only・the first, etc..
The next plance to arrive at Gate４ will be flight 268 from bogota.
次のゲート4に到着する飛行機は、ボコタからの268便です。
Everybody was late except me. I was the only one to arrive on time.
私以外は、皆遅刻した。時間通りに到着したのは、私だけでした。
sure・likely きっと～する。
bound to おそらく～する。
Carla is a very good student.
She's bound to pass the exam.
カーラは、とても良い学生です。彼女は、必ず試験に合格します。
It's possible I'll win the lottery one day, but it's not likely to happen.
いつか宝くじに当たる可能性はありますが、その可能性は低いです。
この様に、形容詞＋to構文は、色々あります。
沢山の例文に触れて、使い方を覚える必要があります。
